29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i):The employer did not conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirement of this standard were being followed: a) Jobsite - On or about January 10, 2024 the employer did not ensure that the energy control procedures were reviewed at least annually for their equipment, to include the Mill 13 Cut-Off Press, exposing employees to amputation hazards. Samuel, Son & Company (USA) Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA Inspection #1460930, Citation 2, Item 1, issued on April 8, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 1500 Coining Dr. in Toledo, OH which became a final order on August 8, 2020.
