(a) 3490 Route 9, Freehold, NJ: Workers engaged in roofing and other related activities were exposed to fall hazards, up to and more than 14 feet to the ground surface below, when walking on and working on the edge of a commercial buildings roof without the use of fall protection. 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: (a) 3490 Route 9, Freehold, NJ: Workers engaged in roofing and other related activities were exposed to fall hazards, up to and more than 14 feet to the ground surface below, when climbing a ladder that was not three foot above the landing point.
