29 CFR 1910.147(c)(1): The employer did not establish a program consisting of an energy control procedure, employee training and periodic inspections to ensure that before any employee performed any servicing or maintenance on a machine or equipment where the unexpected energizing, startup or release of stored energy could occur and cause injury, the machine or equipment shall be isolated from the energy source and rendered inoperative: On or about January 11, 2024, where employees were exposed to caught-in, struck-by, and electrical hazards while performing maintenance and servicing work on machines and equipment without having an energy control program that included energy control procedures, employee training and periodic inspections.

In the Drill TeQ Machine area employees were exposed to struck-by hazards while using a Drill TeQ D500 Drilling and Doweling machine without a form of guarding to protect employees from the point of operation. b. In the Edge TeQ Machine area where employees were exposed to struck-by hazards while using an Edge TeQ 380 edge banding machine without a guard to protect employees from infeed point of operation.
