One or more methods of machine guarding shall be provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks. Examples of guarding methods are-barrier guards, two-hand tripping devices, electronic safety devices, etc.  a) On 1/10/2024 the employer did not ensure that the Kartridge 9 Head Rotary TTV Gasser (model # 1165), where employees were working, utilized adequate machine guarding method such as but not limited to, barrier guards, or electronic safety devices to prevent reaching into the Katridge 9 Gasser where the conveyor system moves the spray cans into the gas injection section creating a caught-in hazard.
