29 CFR  1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Point(s) of operation of machinery were not guarded to prevent employee(s) from having any part of their body in the danger zone(s) during operating cycle(s)  Location:  Workshop area  On or about February 06, 2024, employees were exposed to point of operation and amputation hazards while operating the following machines;  a) Chicago power shear - the blade guard of the shear was not adjusted, while employees cut various size sheet metal. b) Beader machine - point of operation guarding was not adequate to prevent employees from accessing the point of operation during use. The top of the machine was not guarded to prevent access to moving machine parts. c) Lockformer TDF (Transverse Duct Flange) machine - the press was not adjusted to reduce the opening of the feed area to prevent employees from accessing moving parts of the machine and the press. d) Pittsburgh lock forming machine - the press was not adjusted to reduce the opening at the feed area to prevent employees from accessing moving parts of the machine and the press.
