On or about 8 January 2023 at the fuel dock, Seaborne VI, St. Croix, VI. In an area where the jet fuel storage tank was stored, it was observed that "no-smoking" signs were not posted. NOTE: Certification of abatement is not required for this citation item since it was submitted prior to citation issuance. Please disregard the abatement date.

On or about 8 January 2023 at the jet fuel storage tank area, Seaborne VI, St. Croix, VI. In an area where jet fuel was stored, in case of a spill, employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials such as jet fuel. Suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not available within the work area for immediate emergency use. NOTE: Certification of abatement must be submitted for this citation item as required by 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
