29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: a) Construction Site, 4607 N Willow St in Denver CO: On or about January 19, 2024, and at times prior, employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 10 feet to the ground. The employer did not ensure that extension ladders had side rails extending 3 feet above the top balcony rail or were secured when accessing second level balcony.
