29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain a safety program which provides for frequent and regular inspections of jobsites, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person (i.e., a person who is capable of identifying exist (a) (Roof of 610 Park Road, NW Washington DC) Employers competent person failed to complete jobsite inspection prior to starting work after area experienced a winter weather with mix of snow, sleet, and rain. Inspection of the jobsite would have identified the icy surfaces in the area that employees were required to work. No abatement certification or documentation required for this item.
