29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii):Point of operation guards were not designed and constructed as to prevent the operator from having any part of their body in the danger zone during the operating cycle: (a) On or about January 22, 2024 employees operating the Hannifm Mfg. Co. Pneumatic Press (Machine No. 2315) were exposed to amputation hazards and the employer did not ensure the Detect-A-Finger ring guard was properly adjusted to ensure the point of operation was guarded.
