29 CFR 1910.22(a)(3): The employer did not ensure that walking-working surfaces are maintained free of hazards such as sharp or protruding objects, loose boards, corrosion, leaks, spills, snow, and ice. a) At Adams Publishing Group dba Charlotte Sun, located at 23170 Harborview Rd, Port Charlotte FL: On or about January 25, 2024 and January 30, 2024, the employer exposed employees to trip hazards on the floor in that there was a bar of angle iron attached to the floor in a path of travel along the side of the presses near the controls and the office spaces.

29 CFR 1910.28(b)(5)(i): The employer did not ensure that each employee on a runway or similar walkway is protected from falling 4 feet (1.2 m) or more to a lower level by a guardrail system. a) At Adams Publishing Group dba Charlotte Sun, located at 23170 Harborview Rd, Port Charlotte FL: On or about January 25, 2024 and January 30, 2024, the employer exposed employees to a fall hazard in that a midrail was missing from walkway decking around Unit 5a Goss Urbanite Press Machine which is approximately 6.5 feet from the next lower level. b) At Adams Publishing Group dba Charlotte Sun, located at 23170 Harborview Rd, Port Charlotte FL: On or about January 25, 2024 and January 30, 2024, the employer exposed employees to a fall hazard in that a midrail was missing from walkway decking around Unit 7a Goss Urbanite Press Machine which is approximately 6.5 feet from the next lower level.
