29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2):Basic Requirement. Within twenty-four (24) hours after the in-patient hospitalization of one or more employees or an employee's amputation or an employee's loss of an eye, as a result of a work-related incident, you must report the in-patient hospitalization, amputation, or loss of an eye to OSHA. At the workplace located at 301 South 51st Street, Kansas City, Kansas 66106, employer did not report a hospitalization as a result of a work-related incident to OSHA within twenty-four hours. An incident occurred on or about December 23, 2023, which involved a head trauma and severe internal injuries, the incident was not reported to OSHA until on or about January 21, 2024
