29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1) The employer did not ensure that all places of employment, passageways, storerooms, service rooms, and walking-working surfaces are kept in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition: a) USPS PD&C Norfolk: On or about 01/23/2024, the employer did not ensure that passageways were kept in a clean condition, in that products used in the renovation of restrooms containing silica were tracked throughout passageways where employees accessed and egress daily. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
