29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6): The employer used written materials, such as signs, placards, process sheets, or batch tickets in lieu of affixing labels to individual stationary process containers which were not readily accessible to the employees in their work area throughout their work shift: (a) On or before 1/29/2024, the employer did not ensure that hazardous chemicals such as, but not limited to, used Madacide was stored in properly labeled containers. Used Madacide was kept in emptied orange juice bottles as well as plastic buckets. None of the containers were labeled to identify the contents as Madacide. This condition exposed employees to skin irritation as well as fire hazards.
