29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toe boards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: (a) On January 29, 2024, at 1120 East Century Avenue, Bismarck, ND, employees were exposed to a fall of greater than 30 feet while engaged in roofing activities on a 3-story hotel with a 5/12 pitch without the use of fall protection.
