The employer did not ensure that if the correction or repair cannot be made immediately, the hazard is guarded to prevent employees from using the walking-working surface until the hazard is corrected or repaired.  At the worksite located at 1615 Parker Avenue, Osawatomie, Kansas 66064, Inside the kitchen, it was found that floor tiles on the walking working surface of the food preparation area, were found to have had the tile joint broken, allowing two tiles to become separated and protruding. This exposed kitchen staff to a trip and fall hazard.
