29 CFR 1910.213(c)(1): Circular handfed ripsaw(s) were not guarded by an automatically adjusting hood which completely enclosed that portion of the saw above the table and above the material being cut:   (a) On January 31, 2024, and times prior, at or near 8199 36th Street SE in Jamestown, North Dakota, employees were exposed to laceration hazards from the unguarded blade of a Saw Stop table saw, Model: ICS31230, Serial #: I224403480, while ripping and cross-cutting lumber and other construction materials.    (b) On January 31, 2024, and times prior, at or near 501 17th Street SW in Jamestown, North Dakota, employees were exposed to laceration hazards from the unguarded blade of a Bosch table saw, Model 4100XC Table Saw, Serial # 127211582, while ripping and cross-cutting lumber and other construction materials.

(b) On January 31, 2024, and times prior, at or near 501 17th Street SW in Jamestown, North Dakota, employees were exposed to struck-by hazards while rip-cutting lumber, where the Bosch table saw, Model 4100XC, Serial # 127211582, was not equipped with a spreader to prevent the binding of the blade.

29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards were present, or were likely to be present, which necessitated the use of personal protective equipment:   (a) On January 31, 2024, and times prior, at or near 8199 36th Street SE in Jamestown, North Dakota, employees were exposed to potential injuries to the eye and face while engaged in drilling and cutting operations during the manufacturing of preconstructed residential units, the employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards were present which necessitated the use of personal protective equipment.    (b) On January 31, 2024, and times prior, at or near 501 17th Street SW in Jamestown, North Dakota, employees were exposed to potential injuries to the eye and face while engaged in drilling and cutting operations during the manufacturing of preconstructed residential units, the employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards were present which necessitated the use of personal protective equipment.
