29 CFR 1910.29(b)(2):29 CFR 1910.29(b)(2): The employer did not ensure that guardrail systems met the requirement that midrails, screens, mesh, intermediate vertical members, solid panels, or equivalent intermediate members that are installed between the walking-working surface and the top edge of the guardrail system as follows when there is not a wall or parapet that is at least 21 inches (53 cm) high. a) Printer Press Department (Catwalk Area): On or about January 23, 2024, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of 4 feet and 2 inches in that a midrail was not provided on the guardrail system for employees using the catwalk on the Printer Press#1 machine.
