On or about February 01, 2024, at Building 13 stairwell, an employee installing railing was not in use of eye or face protection when using a hand-held portable grinder.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about February 01, 2024, at Building 13 stairwell, employees were performing railing installation work at a height of more than six (6) feet from the ground and were not in use of fall protection.
