29 CFR  1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure:  Establishment - The employer used extension cords and power strips in place of permanent wiring, in the following locations:  a) Lattice Room, Bench 1 - Extension cords run across the wall and ceiling were attached to a power strip feeding a light on the wall, and a second extension cord supplying a power strip feeding, a fan and two lights. b) Lattice Room, Bench 2 - Extension cord run across the ceiling was attached to a power strip feeding a light, vacuum, and battery charger.

29 CFR  1910.303(g)(1)(ii): The required working space about electrical equipment rated 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground, was in a passageway or general open space and was not suitably guarded when normally enclosed live parts were exposed for inspection or servicing:  Pergola area - Employer did not ensure that the areas in front of energized electrical knife switch operating a table saw were cleared of material consisting of a horizontal bandsaw.  Walpole Outdoors LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1635192, citation number 3, item 1, and was affirmed as a final order on February 28, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 400 Industrial Park Street, Pittsfield, Maine 04967.

29 CFR  1910.134(k)(6): The employer did not provide the basic advisory information on respirators, as presented in Appendix D of 29 CFR 1910.134, in written or oral format to employees who wear respirators when such use was not required by the employer:   Establishment - Employer purchased and made available for voluntary use 3M N95 respirators for dusty conditions.  In addition one employee brought in their own 3M half mask air purifying respirator.  The employer allowed the employees to use the respirators as needed on a voluntary basis without providing the basic advisory information listed on Appendix D.
