29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system: a. On or about 1st February 2024, at USAR ECS #126 construction site, Juana Diaz, PR. Employees engaged on roofing related operations were allowed to work at the edge of the unprotected edge or close to it without proper fall protection system in place at a height more than 15 feet from the ground level. NOTE: Certification of abatement is not required for this citation item as abatement was documented by the compliance safety and health officer during the inspection.
