29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): Location: a) Worksite; north side of building; first-floor roof in backyard; concrete yard a) On or about 2/5/2024, the employer did not ensure that employees were protected from falling by using guardrail systems, safety net systems, and/or personal fall arrest systems. Employees walked/worked near the exposed edge of the roof, which was approximately 12 feet above the concrete surface below, to perform work such as installing gutters without the use of fall protection.
