29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries: a) On or about 2/6/2024, in the bakery, a shelving unit was placed directly in front of the fire extinguisher. b) On or about 2/6/2024, on the wall next to the desk to the side of the loading dock in the warehouse, a fire extinguisher was blocked by a desk, a chair, and some metal pieces. c) On or about 2/6/2024, at the top of the stairs to the warehouse, a fire extinguisher was blocked by a cardboard box. d) On or about 2/6/2024, at the emergency exit near the fire alarm pull, a fire extinguisher was blocked by cleaning supplies.

NOTE: Dass Enterprise was previous cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1910. 165(e) which is contained in OSHA inspection 1460885, citation number 1, item number 2, and was a final order on 6/29/2020, with a respect to a work place located at 6195 Estate Frydenhoj, St Thomas, VI.
