29 CFR 1910.243(a)(1)(i):Portable power driven circular saw(s) having a blade diameter greater than two inches were not equipped with guard(s) below the base plate or shoe that covers the saw to the depth of the teeth, except for the minimum arc required to allow proper retraction and contact with the work. a) Penske Truck Collision Repair Toledo on or about February 1, 2024 at the location of 2821 Innovation Drive, Northwood OH 43619: The employer did not ensure the blade on the Milwaukee 8" Metal Cutting Saw (Cat. No. 6370-20) was adequately guarded below the base plate and material. Employees in the Body Shop tasked with operating the Milwaukee 8" Metal Cutting Saw (Cat. No. 6370-20) in this condition were exposed to laceration hazards.
