29 CFR 1926.451(b)(3):29 CFR 1926.451(b)(3): The front edge of platforms were more than 14 inches (36 cm) from the face of the work where guardrail systems were not erected along the front edge and/or personal fall arrest systems were not used in accordance with paragraph (g) of this section to protect employees from falling: a) 1414 Oleander Ln. Dauphin Island Al; On or about February 6, 2024, at times prior, the employer allowed his employees to perform construction activities without fall protection exposing his employees to a fall hazard of up to 9 feet 1 inches to the ground below.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee who was exposed to fall hazards that enabled each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: a) 1414 Oleander Ln. Dauphin Island Al: On or about February 6, 2024, and at times prior, the employer allowed his employees to perform construction activities without first ensuring his crew was trained on the hazards associated with falls to include but not limited to setting up and inspecting fall protection exposing his employees to a fall hazard of 9 feet 1 inch to the ground below.
