29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2): Listed or labeled equipment was not installed and/or used in accordance with instructions included in the listing or labeling: 401 West Main Street Facility - On, or about, February 2, 2024 it was found that a relocatable power tap was energized by a flexible cord instead of being plugged directly into a permanently installed branch circuit receptacle. U.S. Customs and Border Patrol was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1910.303(b)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1566195, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 2-23-22 , with respect to a workplace located at I-19 Checkpoint, Nogales, AZ.

29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and cables were used as a substitute for fixed wiring: 401 West Main Street Facility - On, or about, February 2, 2024 it was found that a flexible cord was used in lieu of fixed wiring to power a relocatable power tap which was connected to an office printer and flash-light charger. U.S. Customs and Border Patrol was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1591270, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 7-27-22, with respect to a workplace located at Adair Range Yuma, Yuma, AZ.
