Except as provided in 1926.500(a)(2) or in 1926.501 (b)(1) through (b)(14), each employee on a walking/working surface 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected from falling by a guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. On or about February 6, 2024, at a jobsite located at Joliet Court, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin; employee(s) installing rim board on a new mixed use apartment complex was not utilizing fall protection exposing employee(s) to fall hazards between 10 feet 8 inches and 35 feet 4 inches.

29 CFR 1926.1060(a)(1)(iii): The proper construction, use, placement, and care in handling of all stairways and ladders; On or about February 6, 2024, at a jobsite located at Joliet Court, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin; the orange self-supporting portable ladder was used to access from the third floor to the top of the floor joists for the fourth level exposing employees to fall hazards.
