When an authorized government representative asks for the records you keep under Part 1904, you must provide copies of the records within four (4) business hours. (a) Facility wide - On or about February 9, 2024, the employer failed to provide a copy of the establishment 201, 2022, 2023 & current year 300 injury and illness logs to OSHA within four (4) business hours of request. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d).

29 CFR 1910.178(q)(7):Industrial trucks shall be examined before being placed in service, and shall not be placed in service if the examination shows any condition adversely affecting the safety of the vehicle. Such examination shall be made at least daily. Where industrial trucks are used on a round-the-clock basis, they shall be examined after each shift. Defects when found shall be immediately reported and corrected. On or about December 21, 2023, the employer did not ensure that powered industrial trucks were examined daily for conditions that could adversely affect the truck's safety before being placed into service. Employees operated lift trucks to move various materials throughout the facility. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
