29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about February 13, 2024, An employee got off an aerial lift and started doing mechanical work on the roof of a building without anchoring the fall protection. The employee was wearing a harness with a retractable that was wrapped around his torso and connected to the front of his harness, but it was not anchored.
