29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain programs which provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials and equipment to be made by a competent person(s):  On or about February 13, 2024, on site of a residence located at 2330 Newport Isles Boulevard in Port Saint Lucie, Florida, employees performing metal roof installation work were exposed to fall hazards from 9 feet-7 inches to 20 feet-7 inches due to the employer failing to conduct an inspection of the worksite to ensure the employees had sufficient fall protection equipment on site and were utilizing portable ladders safely prior to allowing work to commence.

29 CFR  1926.1053(b)(22): Employees  using ladders were carrying objects or loads that could cause the employee to lose balance and fall:  a) On or about February 13, 2024, on site of a residence located at 2330 Newport Isles Boulevard in Port Saint Lucie, Florida, an employee was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 9 feet-7 inches while carrying a rope in his hand as he climbed portable ladders to gain access to the roofs.   b) On or about February 13, 2024, on site of a residence located at 2330 Newport Isles Boulevard in Port Saint Lucie, Florida, an employee was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 9 feet-7 inches while carrying a box of caulk in his hand as he climbed a portable ladder to gain access to the roof.
