29 CFR 1910.119(d)(3)(ii): The employer did not document that equipment complies with recognized and generally accepted good engineering practices: (a) On February 13, 2024, and at times prior thereto, at the Ajinomoto facility located in Lampasas, Texas, the employer did not ensure that the low temperature recirculator vessel complies with recognized and generally good acceptable practices such as, but not limited to, ASME Section VIII Div. 1, UCS-160 Vessels operating at temperatures colder than the MDMT stamped on the nameplate, when the employer operated the low temperature recirculator below the manufacturer-defined limits of the minimum design metal temperature for the vessel.
