29 CFR 1926.451(f)(7): Scaffolds were not erected, moved, dismantled, or altered, by trained and experienced employees under the supervision and direction of a competent person qualified in scaffold erection, moving, dismantling or alteration:; Such activities were not performed only by experienced and trained employees selected for such work by the competent person. a) Family Children's Services Building, 259 Main Street, Binghamton, NY 13905 - On the scaffold. On or about 2/12/24, employees worked from a supported mobile scaffold while exposed to fall hazards at 10.5 feet, 16.5 feet, and at 37.5 feet from the lower concrete deck. This scaffold was used without guardrail protection at the end openings. The foreman was unaware of the requirement for fall protection on a scaffold. Abatement certification must be submitted for this item.
