29 CFR 1910.303(g)(2)(i):Except as elsewhere required or permitted by Subpart S of Part 1910, live parts of electric equipment operating at 50 volts or more were not guarded against accidental contact by use of approved cabinets or other forms of approved enclosures or by any of the means identified in paragraphs (A), (B), (C), and (D) of 29 CFR 1910.303(g)(2)(i): a) On or about February 14, 2024, at the Little Switzerland Jewelry Store, inside the Air Conditioning room #14, there was an open breaker box with live exposed parts exposing employees to electrical hazards. NOTE: Certification of abatement is not required for this citation item since it was submitted prior to citation issuance.

29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1): Sufficient access and working space was not provided and maintained about all electric equipment (operating at 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground) to permit ready and safe operation and maintenance of such equipment: a) On or about February 14, 2024, at the Little Switzerland Jewelry Store, inside the Air Conditioning room #14, there were five small electrical panels obstructed by a small ladder, a small bag with trash and a piece of luggage, exposing employees to electrical hazards. b) On or about February 14, 2024, at the Little Switzerland Jewelry Store, inside the Back-Office, four electrical panels were obstructed by a vacuum cleaner and a mop bucket, exposing employees to electrical hazards. c) On or about February 14, 2024, at the Little Switzerland Jewelry Store, inside another room of the Back-Office, four electrical panels were obstructed by a chair, a fan, and a paper bag, exposing employees to electrical hazards. NOTE: Certification of abatement is not required for this citation item since it was submitted prior to citation issuance.
