29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) On February 14, 2024, employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 12 feet while performing carpentry work on the roof of a residential building. b) On February 14, 2024, employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 2 stories while performing work around unguarded window openings. c) On February 14, 2024, employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 9.3 feet through an unprotected floor hole located underneath the staircase used to access the second floor of the residential building. No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.
