29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met: At the workplace located at 802 South Fowler St. Meade, KS 67864, employee(s) engaged in industrial machinery maintenance activities are exposed to health hazards in that a written hazard communication program had not been developed, implemented and maintained at the facility. Employee(s) are handling Safety-Kleen parts cleaning solvent, WD-40 multi-use aerosol lubricant, Interstate Batteries MTP-48/H6 batteries, Free penetrant and release agent, Acetylene - dissolved (UN1001), and Helium - compressed (UN1046). The chemical hazards associated with these chemicals include: skin corrosion/irritation/burns, eye damage/irritation, drowsiness and/or dizziness, respiratory tract irritation, nausea and/or vomiting, gastrointestinal irritation, may cause cancer, and may be fatal if swallowed and enters airways. Additionally, several of the chemicals can act as fueling agents due to their flammability as a liquid and an aerosol.

29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical: At the workplace located at 802 South Fowler St. Meade, KS 67864, employee(s) engaged in industrial machinery maintenance activities are exposed to health hazards in that the employer did not maintain workplace copies of the Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) for Safety-Kleen parts cleaning solvent, WD-40 multi-use aerosol lubricant, Interstate Batteries MTP-48/H6 batteries, Free penetrant and release agent, Acetylene - dissolved (UN1001), and Helium - compressed (UN1046).
