29 CFR 1910.119(h)(3)(ii):The contract employer did not assure that each contract employee is instructed in the known potential fire, explosion, or toxic release hazards related to his/her job and the process. a) Constitution Rd, Radford, VA 24141. Legacy NC and Green Lines area. On or about February 15, 2024, security employees were potentially exposed to hazardous chemicals such as, but not limited to Sulfuric acid, Oleum, and Ammonia during emergency response duties, and the employer did not assure that security personnel were trained on the potential toxic release hazards of the chemicals. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

On or about February 15, 2024, security employees were potentially exposed to hazardous chemicals such as, but not limited to Sulfuric acid, Oleum, and Ammonia during emergency response duties, and the employer did not document that each employee had received and understood the training of the potential hazards. ABATEMENT NOTE: The contract employer shall prepare a record which contains the identity of the contract employee, the date of training, and the means used to verify that the employee understood the training. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
