29 CFR 1910.213(r)(3): The point of operation on combination or universal woodworking machines was not guarded: (a)Masterbrand Cabinets, LLC at 700 East 48th Street North, Sioux Falls, SD 57104: On or about and at times prior to February 21, 2024, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from injury in that, the point of operation on the HMJ-1 Haunch Machine was not effectively guarded. Employees feeding wood stock into the machine were exposed to a pinch-point hazard regarding the pneumatically driven rubber rollers used to stabilize and move the material through the notcher's point of operation. This condition exposed employees to caught-in and pinch point hazards.

29 CFR 1910.303(b)(1): Electric equipment was not free from recognized hazards that are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a) Masterbrand Cabinets, LLC at 700 East 48th Street North, Sioux Falls, SD 57104: On or about and at times prior to February 21, 2024, the employer did not ensure the power cord powering the belt sander located in the Door Build area of North Plant, was repaired or removed from service due to the outer sheathing of the cord being damaged. This condition exposed employees to burns and shock hazards.

Except as provided in paragraphs (f)(7) and (f)(8) of this section, the employer shall ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace is labeled, tagged or marked: (a)Masterbrand Cabinets, LLC at 700 East 48th Street North, Sioux Falls, SD 57104: On or about and at times prior to February 21, 2024, the employer did not ensure two bottles of Rakoll RK-8490, white glue was effectively labeled, in that the labels were torn and unreadable. This condition exposed employees to chemical hazards.
