29 CFR 1910.141(a)(3)(i): Places of employment were not kept clean to the extent that the nature of the work allowed: a) 2nd Floor Union Offices and Adjoining Hallway - The employer failed to keep office areas and ceiling light fixtures clean from insects. Live and dead boxelder bugs accumulated on surfaces such as, but not limited to, desks, floors, and food containers where employees work and eat, and within overhead light fixtures, on or about February 21, 2024. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
