OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees from struck-by hazards. a) 336 Heinz St, Building 8, Mechanicsburg, PA, Lane AC: - On or about February 22, 2024, the adjustable shelf rack had a damaged structural upright exposing employees to a struck-by hazard due to possible structural failure. b) 336 Heinz St, Building 8, Mechanicsburg, PA - On or about February 22, 2024, the employer failed to post weight limits on the adjustable shelf rack in accordance with MH16.1, section 1.4.2, exposing employees to a possible struck-by hazard due to overloaded shelves. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1)(i)(C): For electric equipment operating at 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground, and likely to require examination, adjustment, servicing, or maintenance while energized, the width of work space was not clear and did not extend from the grade, floor, or platform to the height required by paragraph (g)(1)(vi) of 29 CFR 1910.303: 336 Heinz St, Mechanicsburg, PA, Building 8: On or about February 22, 2024, cardboard refuse had been stacked on the floor directly in front of an electrical panel blocking direct access to the panel. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
