29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury:  a) New residential construction located on Lot S65 at The Sinclaire at Crawford Creek Subdivision at 2141 Sinclaire Dr., Grovetown, GA 30813, front roof: On or about 02/22/2024, the employer exposed an employee to struck-by hazards while operating a pneumatic nail gun, in that protective eyewear was not provided to employees engaged in framing and sheathing work while operating this tool at 120 PSI.  FB Silva Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1675197, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 10/30/2023, with respect to a workplace located at The Sinclaire @ Crawford Creek Subdivision at 2189 Sinclaire Dr., Lot S65, Grovetown, GA 30813.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m)  or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502:   a) New residential construction located on Lot S65 at The Sinclaire at Crawford Creek Subdivision at 2141 Sinclaire Dr., Grovetown, GA 30813, front, roof:  On or about 02/22/2024, the employer exposed two employees to fall hazards of approximately 13-feet, 4-inches to the lower ground level, in that a fall protection system was not provided while the employee were engaged in framing activities on a 10/12 pitched roof.   FB Silva Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1675197, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 10/30/2023, with respect to a workplace located at The Sinclaire at Crawford Creek Subdivision at 2189 Sinclaire Dr., Lot S65, Grovetown, GA 30813.
