29 CFR 1910.147(a)(3)(i):The employer failed to establish a program and utilize procedures for affixing appropriate lockout devices or tagout devices to energy isolating devices and to otherwise disable machines or equipment to prevent unexpected energization, startup or release of stored energy in order to prevent injury to employees. a) On February 21, 2024 and at times prior to; employees apply tags to the Trumpf TruArc Welding Robot when servicing or maintenance is needed. b) On February 21, 2024 and at times prior to; employees apply tags to the Haas VF 4 CNC Mill when servicing or maintenance is needed. Note* Abatement certification is required for this item.
