29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment being used did not used meet the requirements specified in Z 87.1-1968: Employees engaged in residential roofing construction on February 26, 2024 at a jobsite located at 14583 Valentine Street, Waverly, Nebraska were exposed to struck by hazards in that they were not instructed in the recognition of the hazards associated with operating pneumatic nail guns and the methods to protected their eyes from flying particles with safety glasses.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: Employees engaged in roofing construction were exposed to fall hazards. This was most recently documented on February 26, 2024 at a construction jobsite located at 14583 Valentine Street, Waverly, Nebraska when employees were observed working on the roof of a residential structure. The employees were installing shingles while working at a height of approximately 10 feet 6 inches measured from the ground to eave without fall protection.
