29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i):Procedures shall be developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees are engaged in the activities covered by this section. (a): On or about December 8, 2023, the employer did not have a documented energy control procedure for service and maintenance activities on the compounding line #1. (b): On or about February 27, 2024, the employer did not have a documented energy control procedure for service and maintenance activities on the compounding line #1. Abatement certification is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).

The certification shall identify the machine or equipment on which the energy control procedure was being utilized, the date of the inspection, the employees included in the inspection, and the person performing the inspection. (a): On or about December 8, 2023, the employer did not document periodic inspections of the energy control procedure for service and maintenance activities on the compounding line #1. (b): On or about February 27, 2024, the employer did not document periodic inspections of the energy control procedure for service and maintenance activities on the compounding line #1.
