29 CFR 1926.403(b)(1): Employer did not ensure that electrical equipment is free from recognized hazards that are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: a) New residential construction located at 94 Briarwood Drive E, Dawsonville, GA 30534. On or about 02/27/2024, the employer failed to inspect the electrical cord used to provide power to the air compressor employees were using, in that the electrical cord was damaged and exposing the internal insulated energized wires. An inspection of these cords was not performed prior to the shift as these cords were not repaired or removed from service.
