29 CFR 1926.451(g)(2): The employer did not have a competent person determine the feasibility and safety of providing fall protection for employees erecting or dismantling supported scaffolds. Location: Job Site; On or about 02/27/24, the employer failed to determine by way of a competent person, the feasibility and safety of providing fall protection for an employee who was 14-feet above the ground on a residential roof, removing the triangular bracing of a pump jack scaffold from the roof's surface.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b). Location: Job site; On or about 02/27/24, an employee was allowed to access the roof of a residence that was 14-feet above the ground below to remove pump jack triangular bracing from the roof of the residence. The employee was allowed to carry out this job task without being protected from falling by any form of fall protection equipment.
