An extension cord was plugged into a power strip. This condition exposed employees to electric shock and fire hazards.

29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1): Sufficient access and working space was not provided and maintained about all electric equipment (operating at 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground) to permit ready and safe operation and maintenance of such equipment: (a) On or before 2/28/2024. the employer did not ensure that the service panel in the shop area was free and clear of obstructions. A BBQ grill and a waste oil container were stored in front of the service panel. This condition exposed employees to electric shock and fire hazards.
