29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   a. On or about 02/28/2024, at 3235 Azalea Drive, Hernando Beach, Florida, 34607, a crew of five employees were removing roof shingles from atop a two story 5:12 pitch roof/a steep sloped roof, during which time the crew was not protected from falling by a means of conventional fall protection; therefore exposing the employees to a fall hazard.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards:  a. On or about 02/28/2024, at 3235 Azalea Drive, Hernando Beach, Florida, 34607, a crew of five employees were removing roof shingles from atop a two story 5:12 pitch roof/a steep sloped roof, during which time the employer failed to provide the crew with a fall protection training program consistent with the minimum requirements of this part, so as to enable the crew to recognize the hazards of falling from the roof and the procedures the crew should use to minimize these hazards; therefore exposing the crew to fall hazards.
