29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) On or above February 28th, 2024, at 304 N. Krome Avenue, Homestead, Florida, an employee was exposed to 12-foot fall hazards while preparing rebar columns while positioned approximately 3 feet from the edge of an unprotected floor without a means of protection. b) On or above February 28th , 2024, at 304 N. Krome Avenue , Homestead, Florida, employees were exposed to 12-foot fall hazards while walking/working nearby an open elevator shaft.

Krome Avenue , Homestead, Florida, employees were exposed to 12-foot-fall hazards while using a staircase without handrails and with an unprotected side to gain access to the second floor.
