Employees were observed performing daily tasks such as, but not limited to, polishing porcelain pieces that has crystalline silica as a composition material for manufactured stone.

29 CFR 1910.134(k)(6):The employer did not provide the basic advisory information on respirators, as presented in Appendix D of 29 CFR 1910.134, in written or oral format to employees who wear respirators when such use was not required by the employer: a. On or about March 1, 2024, in the Fabrication area: the employer exposed employees to respiratory hazards, in that employees voluntarily wore the Particular Respirator 3M N-95 8210 while performing polishing tasks on manufactured porcelain pieces and were not trained on the basic advisory information contained in Appendix D.
