One or more methods of machine guarding shall be provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks. Examples of guarding methods are-barrier guards, two-hand tripping devices, electronic safety devices, etc.   (a) Primary shop area - On or about January 2nd, 2024, employees were exposed to crushing hazards created by the "Operation 20" hydraulic fixture (S/N: F6710). The fixture was not adequately guarded in order to prevent employees from getting their fingers inside the pinch point created by the rocker pin of the clamping mechanism.   This item was corrected during inspection.
