29 CFR 1910.1000(a): Employee(s) were exposed to an airborne concentration of carbon monoxide listed in Table Z-1, Limits for Air Contaminants, in excess of 50 parts per million (ppm) as an 8-hour time-weighted average (TWA): (a)Rames Enterprises, Inc. DBA Sioux Falls Professional Pressure Washing and Restoration at 1012 East 63rd Street, Sioux Falls, SD 57108, On or about and at times prior to February 28, 2024, the employer did not ensure that employees' exposure to carbon monoxide was below 50 ppm, the 8-hour PEL, in that the 8-hour TWA was calculated to be in excess of 244 parts per million, more than four times the allowable limit. Employees were exposed to carbon monoxide when operating gasoline-powered equipment indoors without adequate ventilation.
